The basic objectives of Kappa League summarized as follows:
To inspire service in the public interest through the cultural enrichment and character development of African American males between the grades of 8 - 12.
To develop leadership skills while monitoring, encouraging, and rewarding outstanding academic performance
To refine self-image, self-esteem, social skills, and environmental awareness
To assist parents by giving their young men opportunities to talk over problems with those who are successful in their chosen vocations
To inform youth of the value of higher education, assistance available for continued educational pursuits, scholarships, loans, professional counseling, and fellowships

To achieve the objectives of Kappa League, participants will attend a meeting two Saturdays per month between October and May from 9:00 am – 12 Noon. During meetings participants will receive education on a variety of topics delivered in seven phases:

To reinforce, enhance and apply the learning from the education sessions, participants will also be involved in the following activities:
A. Turkey Dinner Distribution – Community activity
B. Valentines Scholarship Extravaganza – Social experience
C. Scholarship Luncheon – Academic awareness
D. Field Trips – Company tour, KL Conference, Cultural events
E. College Campus Visits – Career preparation

Since the fundamental purpose of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is achievement, it is the Fraternity's primary purpose to help the young men in the program achieve worthy goals and to make constructive contributions to their communities when they become leaders. We anticipate the following outcomes:
A. Enhance awareness of self, career options and cultural norms
B. Increase self discipline
C. Increase academic performance
D. Increase participation in the community

3. Meet with one of the Co-Chairmen for an interview
4. Once this criteria is met we will inform you of acceptance into the Kappa League
